What is TRC Fleece Backed EPDM?
TRC Fleece Backed EPDM is a 2.6mm roofing solution comprising a 1.2mm Techno EPDM membrane vulcanised to a heavy duty, tough, 300 GM polypropylene backing.
TRC Fleece Backed EPDM fully adheres to timber substrate with a specially formulated water-based adhesive, and to any other substrate with a spray-applied contact adhesive.
The membrane is available in roll widths of 1.52m and 3.05m, which are 15.25m long. A 75mm splice tape is pre-installed along one long edge, removing the need to lay tape manually.

Technologically AdvancedSome fleece backed products just use glue to join fleece and membrane together, but TRC Fleece Backed EPDM adheres the two during the production process by using state-of-the-art technology and vulcanisation.
Covers ImperfectionsPerfect for an uneven substrate or overlaying an existing roof where suitable.
Saves Time and MoneyStripping off an existing felt or fibreglass roof and disposing of it is both time-consuming and expensive: instead, simply overlay directly with TRC Fleece Backed EPDM.
LongevityElasticity and elongation allow the membrane to move with the building. The membrane has a 50 year life expectancy and 25 year warranty.
Safe and CertifiedNo hot works required when laying the membrane. TRC Fleece Backed EPDM is CE-certified, produced in an ISO 9001 facility, and has BROOF(t4) fire rating.

Reduced WasteRoll widths of 1.52m and 3.05m can be combined to best suit the roof size.
Typical install
- Substrate must be dry and dust free.
- TRC Fleece Backed EPDM can be adhered to a timber deck using our specially formulated TRC Fleece Backed Water Based Adhesive, or to other substrates with our spray-applied TRC Contact Adhesive.
- Watertight seams are achieved with the pre-installed 75mm (3”) splice tape and TRC Techno Primer.
- Other flashing details are sealed with our wide range of TRC products.
